Safelines began life from another specialist company, IAMSL. IAMSL is an inspection and consultancy company, specialising in overhead line Condition Assessment (CA), inspecting poles using NDT and carrying out detailed engineering throughout New Zealand. IAMSL have completed projects in Australia, the United States, Canada, Middle East, China and Ireland. This service, and the software and hardware created for it, eventually gave rise to the introduction of alternative material options for our clients.

Safe Lines and IAMSL have worked very closely with composite material experts and we have connected with large international companies who have invested in research and development of their various products. These companies already supply to hundreds of utilities who enjoy the benifits of these products.

Now, we work with different suppliers of composite products, finding the solutions that suit our clients needs. Because we are dedicated to this customer focus, we keep our operation slim; we focus on bringing products to the customer directly, making use of local warehouses to ensure fewer complications and keep costs reasonable.
